The Benefits of Positive Affirmations and How to Use Them


Positive affirmations are a form of self-hypnosis that can be used to help you achieve your goals.


They work by helping you change your mindset from negative to positive, which in turn changes your behaviour and actions, and can be used to improve all areas of your life, such as your wealth, health and relationships.


In positive affirmation, you envision your goal as already achieved and say it out loud or write it down. You can also visualise yourself achieving the goal with your eyes closed. The idea is that if you repeat this often enough, and believe it enough, then eventually it will manifest in your life.


How do I create a positive affirmation?

If you're not sure what you want to affirm, try making a list of situations or goals that would make your life better. Then write a short sentence from the position that it is already true, for example, "I am successful at work", "I attract everything I need at the right time", "My business is growing rapidly", "I am loved and surrounded by people who appreciate me", and "I am beautiful and confident!".


A good way to supercharge this is to come up with a variety of similar affirmations for achieving the same goal. For example, if you would like to improve your finances, some affirmations could be: "Money flows to me easily", "Wealth and abundance is my natural state", and "I release all resistance to attracting money". How do I use positive affirmations most effectively?

Positive affirmations work best when they’re used consistently and often. Writing them down and repeating them out loud is one way to do this, but you don’t want to only do this when you feel bad or are in a funk. Positive affirmations should be a part of your daily routine, whether it's in the morning after waking up or before bed at night. You can even think about them during the day when things are going great.


The goal is for these positive statements about yourself to become an ingrained belief—one that becomes second nature as you repeat them enough times, even if they're just random thoughts popping into your head from time to time throughout the day.


Positive affirmations can help you change your mindset, and therefore, change your life.


Everything we do in our lives is based on our internal belief system, and positive affirmations have the ability to reprogram the way we view ourselves and our what we can achieve.


Keep your affirmations somewhere where they can be seen regularly—on the fridge, bathroom mirror or office computer are great places! By seeing them daily, you'll be reminded of the goals that you wish to accomplish and boost your motivation to work towards them.
